A nonexample lacks the important points and details that define the true example. A nonexample is the opposite of the real thing.

I want to start using non examples more in my training classes. Even though I always thought that non examples were for 2 years olds, I am beginning to see how they can apply to students who work at the Guest House. This is a non example of me saying hi to the Guests in a friendly manner. "Oh no, your back."
